This precision-engineered stainless steel flashback arrestor features reliable double-ferrule compression fittings for leak-tight integration into high-purity gas lines. Equipped with an internal stainless steel sintered element, it effectively extinguishes flames and prevents dangerous reverse flow, ensuring maximum safety for hydrogen, oxygen, and flammable gas piping systems.
The series instrumentation-grade stainless steel flashback arrestor is a critical safety device designed to prevent backfire and reverse flow in high-pressure, flammable gas distribution networks. Machined from premium bar-stock stainless steel, this in-line safety device is equipped with advanced double-ferrule compression ends, allowing secure, metal-to-metal sealing onto imperial or metric tubing without the need for threads or sealants. Locally integrated within the rugged housing is a high-porosity sintered stainless steel flame-quenching matrix. In the event of a flashback, this matrix rapidly dissipates heat below the gas ignition temperature, safely extinguishing the flame front while an internal non-return check mechanism limits gas backflow. It is widely applied in gas chromatography, laboratory gas manifolds, hydrogen energy infrastructure, and industrial welding systems.
