1. Key Terminology
DIN 3202 F5: This specifies the Long Series face-to-face dimension (EN 558 Series 15). The body is longer than the "F4" version, providing more space between flanges and often making it more robust for high-pressure or high-temperature environments.
NRS (Non-Rising Stem): The stem rotates to actuate the wedge but does not move vertically. This is a critical feature for underground installations or areas with overhead obstructions.
Metal Seated: The seal is formed by high-precision contact between metal rings (usually Brass, Bronze, or Stainless Steel) on the wedge and the valve body.
