A DIN NRS Resilient Seated Gate Valve PN25 is a heavy-duty isolation valve designed for high-pressure water and wastewater applications. While most resilient seated valves are rated for PN10 or PN16, the PN25 rating signifies a reinforced design capable of withstanding a working pressure of up to 25 bar (362 psi).
1. Key Characteristics
High Pressure (PN25): Specifically engineered with a thicker ductile iron body and reinforced components to handle 2.5 MPa of pressure.
NRS (Non-Rising Stem): The stem rotates to move the internal wedge but does not move vertically. This is ideal for space-constrained or underground installations.
Resilient Seated: The internal gate (wedge) is fully encapsulated in high-grade elastomer (typically EPDM for water or NBR for sewage), providing a bubble-tight seal even if small debris is present in the pipeline.
DIN Standard: Manufactured to German/European engineering standards (typically DIN 3352 or EN 1074), ensuring interoperability with European-spec piping.
