The ASME Trunnion Type Ball Valve (BS5351/API 6D) is engineered for high-pressure and large-diameter applications. Unlike floating ball valves, the ball is fixed by a trunnion (lower support), allowing the seats to move against the ball. This reduces operating torque and minimizes seat wear. Built to ASME Class 150-300, it features a double block and bleed (DBB) design, making it the industry standard for safe isolation in oil, gas, and petrochemical pipelines.
