A Stainless steel AISI 316 flanged swing check valve PN 16 is a non-return valve designed to prevent reverse flow in industrial piping systems. The AISI 316 (equivalent to ASTM A351 CF8M) material offers excellent corrosion resistance against acids, chlorides, and marine environments . Its swing check design features a disc that pivots on a hinge, allowing forward flow and closing automatically when flow reverses . The flanged ends provide secure, leak-proof connections compliant with PN 16 (pressure rating of 16 bar / 232 psi) . Manufactured under EN 12266 testing standards, these valves are widely used in water treatment, chemical processing, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and offshore applications .
