Ductile iron Silence Check Valve

A Ductile Iron Silence Check Valve (also known as a Silent Check Valve or Non-Slam Check Valve) is a high-performance non-return valve engineered specifically to eliminate "water hammer" and noise in piping systems.

Unlike traditional swing check valves that rely on gravity or backflow to slam the disc shut, a silent check valve uses a spring-assisted mechanism to close the valve before the flow can reverse.

Design & Mechanism
The valve consists of a streamlined body, a center-guided disc, and a heavy-duty stainless steel spring.

Spring-Assisted Closing: As the pump starts to slow down, the spring pushes the disc toward the seat.

Early Closure: The valve is fully closed the moment the fluid velocity reaches zero, preventing the column of water from crashing back against a closed disc (which is what causes the "bang" or slam in other valves).
