DIN 3202 F6 Ball check valve

A DIN 3202 F6 Ball Check Valve is a specialized non-return valve primarily used for wastewater, sewage, and viscous fluids. Unlike traditional swing check valves, this design uses a rubber-coated ball that moves up and down inside the valve body to allow or block flow.

The "F6" designation refers to the standardized face-to-face length, making it a globally recognized component in pumping stations and water treatment plants.

1. How It Works
Opening: When the pump starts, the fluid pressure pushes the ball up into a lateral "pocket" or chamber, out of the flow path. This creates a Full Bore opening with very low pressure drop.

Closing: When the pump stops, gravity and backpressure pull the ball back down onto the seat, creating a tight seal and preventing backflow.
