Introduction
The ASTM A234 WP9 LR 90° Elbow is a premium alloy steel fitting designed for high-temperature and high-pressure service. Containing 9% Chromium and 1% Molybdenum, WP9 provides superior resistance to graphitization, oxidation, and hydrogen attack compared to WP5. The Long Radius (LR) design ensures a smooth 1.5D transition, reducing turbulence. With Butt Welding (BW) ends, it creates high-strength joints essential for power plant headers and refinery catalytic crackers
