The ASTM A234 Alloy Steel Reducer (Grades WP5–WP91) is a high-performance "Chrome-Moly" fitting designed for extreme temperature and pressure. Available in Concentric and Eccentric types, these reducers offer superior creep resistance and oxidation protection. They are essential in power plants and refineries for transitioning pipe sizes in high-pressure steam and catalytic cracker lines, where standard carbon steel would fail due to thermal degradation or hydrogen attack.
