A Ductile Iron Double Check Valve (DC) Backflow Preventer protects potable water from low-hazard cross-connections. It features two independent, spring-loaded check valves in a durable, epoxy-coated ductile iron body. Compact and reliable, it prevents back-siphonage and backpressure in fire lines and irrigation. While it lacks the relief valve of an RPZ, its low pressure drop makes it ideal for high-flow systems.
